Programme Description
The Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY) is Karnataka’s flagship skill development initiative designed to improve the employability of unemployed youth. The programme offers free industry-oriented training in sectors such as Information Technology, Healthcare, Retail, Electronics, Hospitality, Automotive, Banking & Finance, Agriculture, Tourism, Apparel, and Logistics. Participants receive NSQF-aligned training, government-recognized certification, career counselling, soft-skills development, interview preparation, and placement assistance. The programme aims to equip candidates with practical skills that meet current industry requirements and improve employment opportunities across Karnataka.
