Programme Description
PMKVY is India’s flagship skill certification programme that provides free vocational training to unemployed youth. The programme focuses on developing industry-relevant skills in sectors including Computer Applications, Electrical, Electronics, Healthcare, Retail, Beauty & Wellness, Construction, Tourism, Food Processing, and Logistics. Candidates receive practical training from certified trainers, nationally recognized certificates, and placement support. The programme also includes Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for experienced workers who wish to obtain formal certification.
